At Oystas we grow delicious, succulent Pacific Oysters, everything you could want in an oyster!
Tasmania's cool climate and clean environment, and the pristine Southern Ocean waters combine to grow our beautiful, fresh oysters.
What sets us aside from most other oyster producers is that we are small enough to focus on quality yet still deliver quantity. Operating in both intertidal and sub-tidal waters gives us great flexibility in growing conditions. We are able to supply oysters all year round.
On average it takes 2-3 years for our oysters to be ready for harvest, but up to 7 years for our specialty, super jumbos. Our oysters are brought ashore, sorted and packed for delivery at our oyster farm overlooking the crystal waters of Great Bay.

Oystas is proud to be a direct supplier of live oysters to some of Hobart's leading restaurants. Our range of stock sizes means that we are able to cater to the differing needs of our clients. We supply Micro, Buffet, Standard, Large, Jumbo and Super jumbo.
